The Aelfred Cup is run by Aelfred AI Ltd (company no. 17355104) and hosted and streamed by Alexandra Prado.

  2. Who can play

Aelfred Members aged 18 or over. The first 100 Members to complete three months of paid membership in a row are invited to play. One entry per person.

A Swiss tournament, played online. Time control 3+2: three minutes each, plus two seconds a move. The number of rounds is announced with the date.

  4. Rules of play

The normal rules of chess (the FIDE Laws of Chess), as applied by the platform the games are played on.

  5. Fair play

  7. Prizes and date

The prizes and the date are announced on this page before the tournament. Invited Members are told by email.

  8. Streaming

Games may be shown on Alexandra’s stream. By playing, you agree that your username and your games can be shown.

  9. Changes
